Grandmas Meatballs

- 1/2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1/2 finely chopped onion shopping list
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon gravox shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/3 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup gravox, extra shopping list
- 2 tablespoons oil shopping list
- Brown gravy to serve shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 200C. In a large bowl place the first 7 ingredients. Mix until fully combined. Roll mixture into walnut sized balls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place the flour and extra gravox in a bowl and mix to combine. Working in batches, roll each meatball in the mixture, dusting off any excess.
- Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan or skillet. Cook the meatballs in batches for 4 mins turning occasionally until they are evenly browned. Return to the lined baking tray.
- Place in the oven for another 8-10 mins or until cooked through. Serve with brown gravy and vegetables of your choice.
