Sausage Bean Stew

- 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 3 15 oz. cans beans, your choice of kidney, butter, pinto, navy or black-eyed peas. shopping list
- 3 medium carrots diced shopping list
- 3 celery ribs, diced shopping list
- 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in 1/2 in. slices shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup barley shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried lentils shopping list
- 1 tsp. hot sauce shopping list
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach shopping list
How to make it
- In a dutch oven, place all ingredients except spinach. Cover and cook over medium heat for 60-90 minutes or until barley and lentils are tender. Stir in spinach and heat through.
