Banana Bread Pudding With Rum Sauce

- 6 slices whole wheat bread torn into big cubes shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3 ripe bananas mashed shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 2 cups warm water shopping list
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup flaked coconut shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- rum Sauce: shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 2 tablespoons rum shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then place bread cubs in greased square baking pan.
- Beat together eggs, banana and cinnamon then add remaining ingredients except nuts and sauce.
- Pour mixture evenly over bread moistening completely then sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake 50 minutes then cool and serve warm with rum sauce.
- To make sauce melt butter then add brown sugar and cream.
- Boil rapidly 10 minutes then add rum.
