This recipe comes from my mother-in-law, who really knows how to cook. It's also my husband's favorite cake (a/k/a "pintobean" on grouprecipes.com).

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Wesson Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup prunes
  • 1 Cup prune juice
  • 1/2 cup butter milk disolved
  • 1 tsp soda in milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients
  2. bake 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours
