Macadamian Encrusted Portabello Recipe
I had this dish at a restaurant, and tried my best to reproduce it. I was very pleased with the results!

Ingredients
  • 2 large portabello mushroom caps
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 c macadamian nuts-crushed or chopped coursely
  • 1 c of your favorite marinara sauce
  • 2 slices provalone cheese
  • Fresh basil

Directions
  1. Drizzle mushroom caps with olive oil
  2. Spread nuts over mushrooms
  3. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes (or until nuts start to turn brown)
  4. Top with fresh basil leaves then marinara sauce and cheese
  5. Bake another 5 minutes
  6. Add more fresh basil on top as garnish
  7. Delicious!
