How to make it

  • In first bowl, mix canned pumpkin, whipped topping, instant pudding mix and cinnamon until well blended and set aside.
  • In second bowl, mix softened cream cheese and sugar, then fold in the whipped topping.
  • Layer the ginger snaps, cream cheese mixture and pumpkin mixture in a glass serving (trifle) bowl.
  • Sprinkle top with pecans if desired.
