Eggless Yogurt Cake

The yogurt makes the cake soft and the eggs will be hardly missed .
Ingredients
- 30 g Blanched, slivered almonds shopping list
- 60 g dried sour cherries , thinly sliced shopping list
- 40 g butter shopping list
- 40 g golden caster sugar shopping list
- 120 g yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 100 g flour mixed with 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- ...................... shopping list
- 40 g icing sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp fresh orange juice shopping list
- Pink food color shopping list
- 1 tbsp cherries shopping list
- icing sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Grease a 18 cm loaf tin
- Make the almond to paste and mix the cherries in .
- Cream the butter and the sugar.
- Add the yogurt and vanilla .
- Fold in the flour .
- Bake for 20 mins .
- Cool .
- .................
- Blend the icing sugar and the juice with the food colour .
- Drizzle down the centre of the cake towards the sides .
- Let it drip down the sides .
- Sprinkle the cherries on top .
- Dust with the icing sugar and let it set .
