Ingredients

How to make it

  • Thoroughly mix 1/2 c smooth peanut butter and 1/2 c superfine sugar in a large bowl.
  • Press any granules of sugar against the side of the bowl with a wooden spoon until they are completely crushed and mixed with the peanut butter.
  • Slowly add 2/3 c uncooked Cream of Rice and continue stirring until the mixture is completely blended.
  • Spread the mixture in a loaf pan and press down with your hands until it is evenly spread.
  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap and cool in refrigerator for two to three hours until firm.
  • Cut into small bars with a knife and enjoy!

    Regular granulated sugar works fine for this recipe; you just want to crush it up as much as possible so that it blends well with the peanut butter. Cream of Rice can be hard to find these days, but you can order it online if your local grocer doesn't stock it.
