Braised Pork Medallions With Apples Recipe
Great pork recipe with so many great flavors going on. I have made this recipe for years and it is incredible. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1 whole pork tenderloin sliced into 8 pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 1 large apple cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup apple cider

Directions
  1. Season medallions on both sides with pepper and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat then brown pork on both sides.
  3. Remove from pan and reserve then add onion and apples to skillet and sauté until soft.
  4. Add apple cider to skillet then heat to a simmer.
  5. Return pork medallions to pan then cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with hot rice or couscous if desired.
