This is a great side dish. Easily doubled and works great for group dinners.

Ingredients
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 15 oz cans dried lima beans, drained
  • 1 1 lb can green lima beans, drained
  • 1 1 lb can dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 canbaked beans undrained

Directions
  1. Fry bacon until nearly crisp, drain and crumble
  2. Place onion in skillet, add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
  3. Cook 20 min. covered.
  4. Add onion mixture to combined beans, add bacon, pour in a 3 qt casserole
  5. Bake 350 for 1 hr.
