Barbie-Qs BBQ Baked Beans Recipe
A new favorite, perfect for BBQs or even as a main dish. Sweet, Spicy, Garlicky and Hardy. Real Beans with a real taste.

Ingredients
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 green chili pepper chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3-5 whole cloves garlic
  • 1 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 1 can of pork 'n beans
  • 1 can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can of butter beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can of ro-tel
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of mustard
  • 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. of cayenne

Directions
  1. Cook bacon. I put mine on a cookie sheet and throw it in the oven @ 375 till crispy. (you can use a bag of bacon pieces salad topping)
  2. Chop all vegetables (onion, bell pepper, garlic)
  3. Brown ground beef
  4. Add vegetables, beans, ro-tel, bacon, garlic cloves, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, brown, sugar, and cayenne.
  5. Cook on the stove until beans and vegetables are tender.
  6. You can also throw this in a casserole dish and cook it in the oven until vegetables are tender.
