pecan cups tarts Recipe

How to make it

  • cream butter and cream cheese
  • mix well and add, sifted flour, blend well
  • let dough rest in frig , at least 1 hour
  • pinch off dough and roll into 11/2 inch balls
  • put each ball in a MINATURE muffin tin, and press against bottom and sides to make crust, sprinkle a few chopped pecans in the bottom
  • beat egg and add brown sugar, mix well.
  • add melted butter, dash of salt and vanilla.
  • fold in ground nuts. mix well
  • bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes
  • reduce heat to 250 for 10 minutes
  • makes 2 dozen tarts
  • after tarts are cold, sprinkle with 10x sugar
