Dried Fruit and Wine Brisket

- 4 pound brisket shopping list
- 2 cups mixed dried fruit shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups stock shopping list
- 2 medium white onions sliced shopping list
- 1 cup medium dry white wine shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat in heavy pot then add onions and brown over medium heat.
- Add wine, stock and dried fruit then bring to a simmer.
- Season with salt and pepper then simmer covered for 2-1/2 hours.
- Remove roast from pot to slicing board then skim fat from gravy and slice meat.
- Arrange on platter and top with fruited gravy.
