How to make it

  • Preheat oven on 180 C.
  • In a frying pan saute onion in 1 tbs olive oil on low heat 5 min, add garlic and saute another 5 min.
  • Mix whine, water, olive oil , lemon juice and sugar till sugar is dissolved.
  • Put lemon slices on the bottom of an oven tray, add chicken pcs, salt and pepper to taste, top with fig halves.
  • Add onion, garlic, cloves, chili and liquid.
  • Bake for 60 min till meat comes of the bones.
  • Serve with white rice or boiled potatoes and brown bread ( baquette) to dip in the sauce.

    Thank-you, this is a different recipe for me I like figs,and with the lemon and wine, always good with chicken.
