Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil. shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce. shopping list
- 3 tablespoons honey. shopping list
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar. shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger. shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 4(6 ounce)boneless,skinless chicken breast halves. shopping list
- 4 hardrolls or croissants. shopping list
- 1 cup finely shredded lettuce. shopping list
- 8 tomatoes slices. shopping list
- 4 green pepper rings. shopping list
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise. shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the first six ingredients in a blender;process for 30secs.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of blended ingredients.
- Pour remaining sauce into a large resealable plastic bag.
- Add chicken;seal and refrigerate overnite.
- Drain,discarding marinade.
- Broil chicken untill juice run clear.
- On bottom half of each roll or croissant,layer lettuce,tomatoes,chicken and green pepper.
- Drizzle with reserved sauce;spread with mayonnaise if desired.
- Top with other half of roll or croissant.
