How to make it

  • 1. Boil the Pasta
  • 2. In a pan add a tbsp of olive oil and a pinch cumin seeds. Once oil is warm and seeds have gone slightly brown add the chopped onions.
  • 3. Once onions have gone slightly brown add the blended tin tomatoe, grinded green chillies, crushed garlic and ginger, salt, pepper and 2 tablesp of Dhana Jiru powder. Close the lid and let it cook on meduim heat for about 10mins.
  • 4. While sauce is cooking make the potatoe mix. Mash the potatoes, add margarine, milk, salt to taste and dry herbs. You can make this with ready packets of mash.
  • 5. Once sauce is done add chopped fresh Coriander and stir in the pasta.
  • 6. Place the pasta into your baking dish, and then place a layer of the potatoe mix.
  • 7. Now cover the layer of potatoe with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated cheese.
  • 8. Leave in the oven until topping has gone golden brown.
