How to make it

  • Peel and core apples.
  • Using a mandolin, slice apples thinly and cut slices into thirds. Set aside.
  • Brown sausage pressing with spatula to crumble. Drain and set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Prepare stuffing mix per instructions on bag, substituting chicken broth for water and adding sage.
  • Add apples and sausage and place in an 8x8 pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 15 minutes to heat ingredients evenly.
  • Enjoy

    Tried this yesterday and it was a hit - even thouse who usually don't eat stuffing went back for seconds - very nice - thanks for the recipe.
