Creamy Cheese and Bacon Vermicelli

- 8 oz. (1/2 pkg.) vermicelli shopping list
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions shopping list
- 1 tbsp. margarine or butter shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 4 oz. cream cheese, cubed shopping list
- 3 tbsp. chopped parsley or 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional) shopping list
- 6 bacon slices, cooked crisply, crumbled shopping list
- Grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cook Vermicelli according to package directions
- Drain, cover and set aside
- In small saucepan, saute green onions in margarine or butter
- Add milk, cream cheese, parsley and seasonings
- Cook, stirring constantly over low heat until smooth and cheese is melted
- Add cooked pasta to pan; toss with cream cheese mixture and bacon
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
