How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter and sugar then stir in flour until crumbly then pack into rectangular baking pan.
  • Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cook apricots in small amount of water until softened.
  • Drain and process until pureed in food processor.
  • Beat brown sugar and eggs together until well blended then add dry and mix until blended.
  • Add vanilla, apricots and nuts then mix until blended and spread over baked layer.
  • Bake 25 minutes until golden then cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar then cut into pieces.
