Cod With Quick Butter Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cod pieces
  • 25 g butter
  • 2 tbs oil
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 crushed garlic
  • 1/2 small chopped onion
  • 150 ml fish stock or water with fish stock
  • 100 g butter

Directions
  1. Pan fry the cods in the butter and oilfor 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  2. For the sauce:
  3. In a saucepan cook 1 crushed garlic and the onion and the stock for 5 minutes over a gentle heat.
  4. Whisk in 100g diced butter.
  5. Strain and add fresh basil.
