Yummy Rummy Whipped Cream Recipe
A great topper for your holiday pies, drinks and ice cream. Other recipes call for nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract, etc.-- I think this is fine on it's own. You don't even have to buy a whole bottle of rum!

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces heavy or whipping cream
  • 1 jigger flavored rum (i.e. coconut, vanilla, banana)

Directions
  1. Wash and clean metal bowl thoroughly with hot, soapy water. Dry bowl and place in freezer for 15 mins.
  2. Pour ice cold (not frozen) cream into bowl and set mixer to lowest setting and gradually increase to highest setting as not to make a mess, scraping down the sides of the bowl
  3. Once cream has formed stiff peaks, turn mixer to medium setting and slowly pour in the jigger of flavored rum.
  4. Once rum is incorporated, return mixer to highest setting for about 20-30 seconds until fluffy.
