Yummy Rummy Whipped Cream

A great topper for your holiday pies, drinks and ice cream. Other recipes call for nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract, etc.-- I think this is fine on it's own. You don't even have to buy a whole bottle of rum!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces heavy or whipping cream shopping list
- 1 jigger flavored rum (i.e. coconut, vanilla, banana) shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and clean metal bowl thoroughly with hot, soapy water. Dry bowl and place in freezer for 15 mins.
- Pour ice cold (not frozen) cream into bowl and set mixer to lowest setting and gradually increase to highest setting as not to make a mess, scraping down the sides of the bowl
- Once cream has formed stiff peaks, turn mixer to medium setting and slowly pour in the jigger of flavored rum.
- Once rum is incorporated, return mixer to highest setting for about 20-30 seconds until fluffy.
