How to make it

  • Boil 7 c water and sugar for 45 minutes to make simple syrup
  • Bring remaining water and all coffee to ~200F for 10 minutes; filter out grounds; set aside to cool
  • Once simple syrup has cooled for 20-30 minutes, add brewed coffee, alcohol, and vanilla; stir until well mixed
  • Pour liqueur into bottles and seal them for 30 days before drinking
