Spiced Cider Jelly

- 3 Cups apple cider shopping list
- 3 Cups sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup dried sweetened cranberries shopping list
- 1/2 orange sliced thinly shopping list
- 1/2 lemon sliced thinly shopping list
- 1/2 Tbs allspice berries dried shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. whole cloves shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. anise seeds shopping list
- 8 inches of cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1 box Powdered pectin (1.75 oz.) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine everything together except for the pectin and sugar (Follow the directions with the pectin for addition of the sugar and pectin powder).
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture off and begin to process per instructions from the pectin manufacturer.

- Dissolve the pectin into the fruit juice and bring to a roiling boil over high heat.
- Add the sugar and return to a boil cooking over high heat until the mixture reaches 235*F
- Skim off foam and pour into prepared 1/2 pint canning jars. (4 1/2 jars).
- Process in boiling water canner for 5 - 15 minutes depending on elevation (specified in pectin instructions.)
- Let jel overnight.
