How to make it

  • preheat oven to 350 F
  • make stuffing as instructed on the box,but adding bullion cubes to the water.
  • spread stuffing over flank steak, top with as much or as little of the celery as you would like leaving 1 inch around edges
  • roll up, tucking in the ends, tie with string.
  • coat with flour (i sometimes season flour with a bit of pepper and salt)
  • in large skillet brown in oil.
  • place in baking dish.
  • in same skillet cook onion till tender.
  • add soup,garlic,basil and any extra celery that wasn't used in the stuffing(i sometimes add a bit of celerly salt here) cook and stir till smooth
  • pour over the flank steak.
  • cover and bake approx. 1 hour.
  • basting occasionally.
  • garnish with fresh parsley.
