Stuffed Flank Steak Recipe
this is a dinner my whole family loves. My daughter asks for it often. I like this with steamed baby carrots and potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 1 (1.5 LB) flank steak pounded
  • 1 box uncle bens traditional sage stuffing
  • 2 beef buillon cubes
  • flour
  • 2-3 tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup very finely chopped celery
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 cans of condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 tsp basil leaves
  • parsley (garnish)

Directions
  1. preheat oven to 350 F
  2. make stuffing as instructed on the box,but adding bullion cubes to the water.
  3. spread stuffing over flank steak, top with as much or as little of the celery as you would like leaving 1 inch around edges
  4. roll up, tucking in the ends, tie with string.
  5. coat with flour (i sometimes season flour with a bit of pepper and salt)
  6. in large skillet brown in oil.
  7. place in baking dish.
  8. in same skillet cook onion till tender.
  9. add soup,garlic,basil and any extra celery that wasn't used in the stuffing(i sometimes add a bit of celerly salt here) cook and stir till smooth
  10. pour over the flank steak.
  11. cover and bake approx. 1 hour.
  12. basting occasionally.
  13. garnish with fresh parsley.
