Crock Pot Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients except potatoes.
  • Mix well in large bowl.
  • Place potatoes in bottom of crock pot.
  • Shape meat into loaf as best as you can, need not be perfect. Plop it right on top of the potatoes.
  • Mix sauce ingredients together in small bowl.
  • Pour sauce over all.
  • Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.
  • Turn to high setting and remove cover for last hour.

    soulatomickim, I have doubled this recipe before and it came out fine. It is hard to say how many it serves, my family are big eaters so one recipe feeds about 4 of us.

    I like easy. Have to make a meal for about 14 ladies and one with a gluten allergy. How many does this recipe serve and with a double crock pot can it be at least doubled?

    This is perfect. I love crockpot recipes! And I so enjoy meatloaf. I am definately going to be doing this very soon. I love having dinner ready when I get home from work!

    I have been looking for a simple way to make meatloaf, without the constant checking and heating up of my oven. I sometimes make meatloaf on the stove top. Making two smaller loaves, surrounding it with potato chunks and green beans. Delicious, but I need to tend constantly. This sounds just as good and needs no attention.

    Yes, missy360, although if you won't be home or whatever it would not hurt to wait, just make sure you cook it for the last hour uncovered. This can remain in the crockpot for up to 12 hours.
