This dish is my adaption from another recipe I saw in a magazine. We are not really a lover of meat loaves or meat balls, but this is so versatile that you can make 2 to 4 meat loaves or make smaller ones and make meat balls. We really like this reci... More

Ingredients
  • 400g minced beef
  • 100g minced pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small clove of garlic, crushed [optional]
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 25ml sweet chutney
  • 1 beef cube
  • 2ml dry mustard
  • 10ml worcestershire sauce
  • 2 slices of fresh bread, cubed
  • 65ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & Pepper [to your taste]

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together well.
  2. Shape into 4 individual loaves.
  3. Place in ovenproof casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 190 degrees C for about 35 to 40 mins.
  5. Serve, with mashed potatoes, carrots & peas.
