Teriyaki Surf And turf salad

- 1 can pineapple chunks shopping list
- /4 cup bottled teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 3/4 cup instant rice OR 1 cup left over rice shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 1 can (106g)salad shrimp drained shopping list
- 2 cups cooked beef (or 250g deli roast beef.), sliced. shopping list
- 1/2 pkg (6 oz/170 g) chow mein noodles (bean sprouts) shopping list
How to make it
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice Combine pineapple juice with teriyaki sauce. Cut roast beef into strips, combine with1/4 cup teriyaki/pineapple mixture in large ziplock freezer bag and chill in refrigerator. Prepare instant rice according to package instructions, omittig salt. While rice is hot, place in large 4 cup zipock container and mix with remaining ingredients, except beef and chow mein noodles. Marinate at least 0 minutes in refrigerator or over night. Arrange rice mixture on plates, top with chow mein noodles and marinated beef strips.
- Tip: For picnic in the park, transport rice mixture in large ziplock container and beef strips in freezer bag with an ice pack inbetween.
