How to make it

  • Pierce coconut eyes,drain and reserve liquid.
  • Remove shell,peel off brown skin.
  • Coarsely chop the coconut.
  • Add milk to reserved liquid to make 2 cups.
  • Heat till hot (do not boil).
  • Blend coconut and hot liquid in blender container 1 minute.
  • Chill.
  • In Shaker combine blended mixture,ice,rum,brandy,cherry juice,and sugar.
  • Shake well.
  • Strain into glasses,garnish with maraschino cherries.
