Minestrone Soup

- 1 ham stock Cube shopping list
- 1/2 Litre water shopping list
- 1 carrot shopping list
- 12g spaghetti shopping list
- 1 small onion shopping list
- 1 small peice of cabbage shopping list
- 1 tablespoon garden peas shopping list
- salt + pepper shopping list
- 50g Tinned tomatoes shopping list
- 2 x 15ml oil shopping list
How to make it
- Make stock and pour into measuring jug.
- Chop onion finely and fry in oil until golden brown and remove from heat.
- Peel carrot and dice. Shred cabbage.
- Add carrot, tomatoes and stock to onion and return to the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Break spaghetti into 5cm pieces and add to the soup 2ith peas and cabbage.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.
