Tandoori Chicken Skewers

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 3 tablespoons tandoori paste shopping list
- 3 tablespoons plain yogurt shopping list
- 1 garlic clove crushed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro shopping list
- 1 small white onion cut into wedges and separated into layers shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oil for brushing shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- cilantro sprigs for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Chop chicken breasts into cubes.
- Put in a bowl then add lemon juice, tandoori paste, yogurt, garlic, cilantro and seasoning.
- Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator 3 hours.
- Preheat broiler to high then thread alternate pieces of chicken and onion onto four skewers.
- Brush onions with a little oil then lay skewers on broiler rack and cook 12 minutes turning once.
- Garnish kebabs with cilantro and serve at once with rice pilaf.
