Bok Choy Soup With Crab

- 2 teaspoons cooking oil shopping list
- 2 slices ginger lightly crushed shopping list
- 1 walnut size shallot finely chopped shopping list
- 4 ounces cooked crabmeat flaked shopping list
- 1 quart chicken stock shopping list
- 1 cup cold water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce shopping list
- 8 ounces bok choy thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 carrot, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Place pot over high heat until hot then add oil swirling to coat sides.
- Add ginger and shallot and cook stirring until fragrant about 10 seconds.
- Add crabmeat then stir-fry 1 minute.
- Add stock, water and soy sauce then bring to a boil.
- Add bok choy and carrot then reduce heat to low and simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in sesame oil and pepper.
