Ingredients
  • 1 (16oz) can whole Italian style tomatoes,mush
  • 1/2 Cup Wine Vinger
  • 1/4 Cup Onion,chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Celery,chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Sweet Pepper,chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers,seeded and chopped
  • 6 Cloves Garlic,minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper,crushed
  • 1 Tablespoo Chili Powder
  • 1-1/2 Ground Cumin
  • About 1-1/2 Pounds of flank steak,cut about 1" thick
  • Had them on Homemade Spinach Tortillas,(Cook all your troubles away~~I say!)

Directions
  1. Combine the tomatoes,vinegar,onion,celery,green pepper,brown sugar,jalapeno peppers,garlic,cinnamon,giger,red pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a pan.Bring to boil and reduce heat,simmer uncovered about 30 minuts. or until like you like,sirr now and then.
  2. Fire up your grill.
  3. (Hoping your neighbors are not looking out the window and calling for the little men in the little white coats!)
  4. Combine chili powder,cumin and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Rub both sides of steak and grill about 16 minutes,let stand about 5 minutes or so.Slice thinly,and
  5. (Eat your little heart out with the catsup and tortillas.)
