MANGO RICE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Steep Estate in Elmo, Texas in 1989.

Ingredients
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1 can beef consommé
  • 1-1/2 cups white rice
  • 1 medium white onion diced
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 large mango diced

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients and place in covered casserole.
  2. Bake at 325 for 1 hour then uncover and place back in oven for 30 minutes longer.
