How to make it

  • Fry vegetables and mushrooms, onion and garlic in plenty of olive oil
  • Add tomatoes and chick peas
  • Season to taste and add herbs and wine. Plenty of pepper is advised.
  • Cook at a medium heat in a heavy oven proof dish for about an hour.
  • Serve with hot pitta bread.
