Ingredients

1 Cup Shortening (or) Bacon Drippings

1 Tablespoon Whey Protein

1 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Eggs,beaten

1 Tablespoon Vanilla

5 Tablespoon Sour Cream

1 teaspoon Nutmeg

1 teaspoon Salt

3 Cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Cup Dried Wolfberries

2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

2 teaspoon Baking Powder

Directions

Combine the shortening(or)bacon drippings,sugar,vanilla and the eggs,blend.

Mix in all the other ingredients,mixing with a spoon and then with your hands.

Forms a sticky mess.

Shape into 3" round,by 1/2" thick disks.

Place on greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Will be soft,but will harden as they cool.

Note: They are like a raisin oatmeal cookie~~but a slightly different taste.

I never heard of wolfberries either, but the recipe sounds really good, especially loving the oats and sour cream in there. guess I'll have to check the local health store for some berries! Thanks for the great post!
