How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Sauté onions in butter in large skillet for 10 minutes.
  • Boil rice in water for 5 minutes then drain well.
  • Place onions, rice, cheese and half and half in greased dish and bake uncovered 1 hour.
  • Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
