Rocking Amish Cracker Jacks

- 3 quarts popped corn shopping list
- 1 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients except corn in heavy duty sauce pan.
- Heat over medium heat until mixture reaches 260 degrees or hard ball stage.
- Boil slowly then pour over popped corn then put in 200 degree oven for 1 hour.
- Stir 3 times during cooking then allow cooling completely.
