- 4 sticks margarine or butter shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups self rising flour shopping list
How to make it
- Melt margarine or butter In a large sauce pan over medium heat
- Add flour while continuing to stir. Stir until mixture is a smooth paste
- The roux will be yellow as it takes on the color of margarine
