Baked Halibut

- 4 pound halibut steak shopping list
- 2 cups sour cream shopping list
- ¼ cups. butter shopping list
- ¼ pound sliced mushrooms shopping list
- ½ cups sherry wine shopping list
- salt and cracked pepper to to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450ºF.
- Place fish in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, to make sauce, melt butter in a saute pan.
- Add mushrooms and simmer 10-15 minutes.
- Add the sour cream and simmer 15 more minutes.
- Do not allow to boil. Pour sauce over halbut in baking dish and add wine.
- Reduce heat to 375ºF and bake for 45 more minutes.
- For added flavor to your baked halibut recipe, shake flakes of butter over fillets when cooking completes.
