How to make it
- IN A 2 QUART SAUCE PAN, COMBINE FIRST 4 INGREDIENTS. COOK ANS STIR UNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES AND MIXTURE COMES TO A BOIL. COOK TO HARD BOIL STAGE (250) WITHOUT STIRRING. WIPE CRYSTALS FROM SIDES OF PAN NOW. WIPE WITH FORK WRAPPED WITH DAMP CLOTH. REMOVE FROM HEAT . IMMEDIATELY BEAT EGGS WHITES STIFF.POUR HOT SYRUP SLOWLY OVER BEATING WHITES, BEATING CONSTANTLY AT HIGH SPEED ABOUT 5 MINUTES. ADD VANILLA AND BEAT UNTIL MIXTURE FORMS SOFT PEAKS AND BEGIN TO LOSE IT GLOSS. ADD NUTS (OPTIONAL) .DROP DIVINITY FROM TEASPOON . PUSH OFF WITH SECOND SPOON ONTO COOKIE SHEET. TWIRL TOP. IF DIVINITY BECOMES STIFF FOR TWIRLING , ADD FEW DROPS OF HOT WATER.
