Zesty Onion Couscous

- 1 Tablespoon butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/4 Cup green onions, minced shopping list
- 1 Cup couscous, uncooked shopping list
- 1/8 Teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 Cup carrots, thinly sliced shopping list
- 14 Ounces beef (chicken or vegetable broth) shopping list
How to make it
- In a 2-3qt. saucepan (with lid), saute carrots & onions in 1T butter or margarine, until tender. Pour in broth and add cayenne. Bring to a boil.
- Add couscous, stir to combine. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes, stir and serve. This recipe is adapted from Pillsbury.
