Crispy Thumbprint Cookies

- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3 cups rice krispie cereal, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 6 tbsn strawberry or raspberry preserves shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Combine cake mix, oil, water and egg in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer at med. speed until well blended.
- Stir in cereal and walnut; mix well.
- Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Use thumb to make indentation in each cookie.
- Spoon about 1/2 tspn preserves into center of each cookie.
- Bake 9-11 min. or until golden brown.
- Cool cookies for 1 minute on cookie sheets.
- Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
