Ingredients
  • 3-4 lb. pot roast
  • 16 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 (10-1/2 oz) can of French Onion Soup
  • 1 (14 oz) can of beef broth
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Directions
  1. Cut pot roast into 5 or 6 pieces
  2. Combine flour, salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder
  3. Coat pot roast pieces in flour mixture
  4. Combine French Onion soup and beef broth in bottom of crock pot
  5. Mix in mushrooms, onion & garlic
  6. Add beef pieces & mix so that they are mostly covered in liquid
  7. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, stirring occasionally
  8. Serve with mashed potatoes or over rice or noodles
  9. Enjoy!
