Yummy, yummy, yummy. This recipe comes from a church friend who brought this to church last Sunday and we devoured it in minutes. Greatess in a pan. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup softened margarine
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup strong coffee
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup softened margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup strong coffee
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 then grease and flour 2 spring form cake pans.
  2. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl then set aside.
  3. Cream butter and margarine then add vanilla, sugar and four eggs and beat well.
  4. Combine coffee and milk then add coffee mixture and flour mixture alternately to egg mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips then pour into cake pans.
  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes then cook 15 minutes and remove from pan and chill.
  7. To make frosting beat all frosting ingredients 5 minutes then frost cake and chill before serving.
