Mesquite And Garlic Steak Recipe
A delicious, and quite simple steak recipe, spiced up with a bit of Southwest flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds steak; Top sirloin, Rib-eye or T-bone, cut 1-inch thick
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle of Mesquite Marinade (I used Lawry's brand), with Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp of Garlic Powder, with Parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Seasoned Pepper

Directions
  1. Put the steak in large Ziploc bag. Then, combine marinade, garlic powder and seasoned pepper in medium bowl; saving 1/3 cup of the marinade mixture for later use. Add the left over marinade mixture into the bag with steak and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes, turning only once during that time.
  2. Remove the steak from the bag, disposing of the used marinade, and place on grill. Brush often with 1/3 cup of served marinade mixture, (until desired doneness), around 16-20 minutes.
