Fried Mexican Ice Cream

- 1 pint vanilla ice cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup crushed cookie crumbs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 2 teaspoons sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- oil for deep frying shopping list
- honey shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Scoop out 4 balls of ice cream then return to freezer.
- Mix crumbs, cinnamon and sugar then roll frozen ice cream in half of mixture and freeze again.
- Beat egg and dip balls in egg then roll again in remaining crumbs and freeze until ready to use.
- Heat oil to 350 and place 1 frozen ice cream ball in fryer basket and lower into hot oil 1 minute.
- Immediately remove and place in dessert dish then drizzle with honey and top with cream.
- Continue to fry balls one at a time.
