How to make it

  • Mix pizza shell ingredients together and allow to rise 40 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 3 parts and refrigerate 2 parts for future use.
  • Spread remaining part in oiled pizza pan and dimple dough with fingers.
  • To make sauce sauté onions, garlic and oregano in olive oil until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool before using.
  • Spread 1 cup of sauce over shell then layer topping ingredients in order given.
  • Bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
