Keilbasa N Kraut Recipe

Ingredients

Kielbasa - Any Kielbasa will do! I've tried this recipe with pork, beef, turkey, lamb, veil, bison, and smoked kielbasa sausage.

2 cups Applejuice

2 cans Sour Kraut un-drained

1 red onion

salt and pepper

microwave safe dish

Saran wrap

Directions

Cut Kielbasa into slices and put in Microwave safe dish

Add 2 cans un-drained sour kraut

Slice in 1 whole Red Onion

Add in 2 Cups Apple Juice (you can also use apple sauce and add cinnamon if you like)

Salt and freshly ground pepper about 1 tsp

Give a quick toss

Cover with Saran Wrap and cook in microwave on high for 10 min.

Stir and let sit for 5 min. then microwave for another 5 min.

Serve heated.

It really is delicious.
I've seen amazing dishes created in the dorm and it is pretty amazing what hungry students on a budget will come up with. There are some really tasty dishes that people have made, when, despite, only having a microwave.
