Ingredients
  • 11 ounce can refrigerated soft breadsticks
  • 6 hot dogs
  • GARNISH SUGGESTIONS:
  • Cheddar OR Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Pickles

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Separate breadsticks at perforations to form 12 strips.
  3. Wrap 1 strip around each hot dog.
  4. Place hot dogs onto UNgreased baking sheet so that ends of breadsticks are under the hot dogs.
  5. Cut 1/4" piece of dough off each of the remaining 6 strips for feelers.
  6. Cut each strip in half crosswise.
  7. Cut each in half again lengthwise.
  8. You should have 24 pieces of dough.
  9. Gently stretch each piece to 5" length.
  10. Using 4 strips for each hot dog, form a loop on each side of hot dog to resemble butterfly wings.
  11. Divide each piece of reserved dough in half and form into feelers.
  12. Attach 2 feelers to underside of breadsticks at one end of hot dogs.
  13. Bake 15 to 20 minutes OR until golden brown.
  14. Remove from oven to cooling rack.
  15. Garnish as desired to decorate hot dogs to resemble butterflies.
