Hot Doggity Butterflies

- 11 ounce can refrigerated soft breadsticks shopping list
- 6 hot dogs shopping list
- GARNISH SUGGESTIONS: shopping list
- Cheddar OR mozzarella cheese, shredded shopping list
- ketchup shopping list
- mustard shopping list
- pickles shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Separate breadsticks at perforations to form 12 strips.
- Wrap 1 strip around each hot dog.
- Place hot dogs onto UNgreased baking sheet so that ends of breadsticks are under the hot dogs.
- Cut 1/4" piece of dough off each of the remaining 6 strips for feelers.
- Cut each strip in half crosswise.
- Cut each in half again lengthwise.
- You should have 24 pieces of dough.
- Gently stretch each piece to 5" length.
- Using 4 strips for each hot dog, form a loop on each side of hot dog to resemble butterfly wings.
- Divide each piece of reserved dough in half and form into feelers.
- Attach 2 feelers to underside of breadsticks at one end of hot dogs.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes OR until golden brown.
- Remove from oven to cooling rack.
- Garnish as desired to decorate hot dogs to resemble butterflies.
