Ingredients
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/4 pound flour
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, Diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth or stock
  • 1 cup milk. Scalded
  • 2 cups corn (or more if desired)
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste

Directions
  1. Saute veggies in butter until tender
  2. Add flour to make a roux.
  3. Cook lightly, til roux turns a golden shade.
  4. While whisking, add stock and scalded milk.
  5. Add corn and seasonings.
  6. Simmer and serve.
